Joe Ciccarello has nearly three decades of diverse accounting experience. His broad background and “get it done” attitude have made Joe a valuable asset for his clients.
Although he possesses a wide range of experience, Joe’s particular expertise lies in his ability to see the “big picture,” and to assemble the diverse elements of an organization’s financial structure into an actionable plan. He combines strong technical accounting skills with a practical approach based on common sense and business savvy.
Joe co-champions Gray, Gray & Gray’s Energy Practice Group and is intimately familiar with the day-to-day operations of an energy company as well as the challenges they face in their industry. He provides business owners with a breadth of accounting, consulting and taxation services designed to help build more profitable and efficient practices.
Additionally, Joe’s experience with mergers and acquisitions is a significant benefit to his clients. Joe is the Managing Member of FuelExchangeTM, Gray, Gray & Gray’s merger and acquisition service for energy companies.
Joe joined Gray, Gray & Gray in 1986, and was made a partner in 1992. He became Managing Partner in 2008. During Joe’s tenure as Managing Partner, the firm has experienced strong growth through both merger and expansion of services to clients.
A native of Italy, Joe earned his undergraduate degree in accounting and a graduate degree in taxation from Bentley College. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Sons of Italy Foundation.
