Gray, Gray & Gray’s own Marquis Cooper, a staff accountant, recently took part in an MSCPA panel on “What Millennials Want (and why you should give it to them).” The panel was part of a daylong Perspective on the Pipeline – A Conversation with Educators and Employers, a seminar held at Bentley University.
Gray, Gray & Gray Partner Michael Cecere had the pleasure of attending the panel discussion and reported that “Marquis was on-point throughout the discussion, shedding light on many key issues Millennials face today while also enlightening the audience on the beyond the numbers approach we take at Gray, Gray & Gray that intrigues team members and clients alike.”
The seminar was attended by both college faculty and practicing accounting professionals, with an eye toward identifying the personnel needs of the profession and how colleges can better prepare their students to be “job ready” upon entering the accounting profession.
It should also be noted that Marquis participated in the presentation in the middle of a very busy and productive day, with the start of the busy season already underway. That’s dedication!
Well done, Marquis!
