Michael Cecere, CPA

Whether it is designing and implementing internal accounting systems, or representing a client with the Internal Revenue Service, Michael always delivers effective advice.
After several years with a Boston accounting firm, Michael joined Gray, Gray & Gray in 1989. He provides day-to-day service for a number of key clients, delivering insightful advice in the areas of accounting, audit, tax and internal control matters. Michael also heads up the firms quality control department and the Employee Benefit Plan Practice Group.
Michael’s diverse background and experience make him a key player in the firm’s Practice Groups. His organizational and planning skills help ensure that our audits are conducted in a thorough, yet timely manner, in accordance with the latest accounting principles and audit regulations.
Michael is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants where he serves on the CPA Exam committee and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. Michael also serves as chairman of the Parish Finance Board of Our Lady of Grace church in Chelsea, Mass.
Michael is a graduate of Merrimack College, North Andover, Mass. and serves on the college's Alumni Council. A native of Chelsea, Mass., he resides in Everett, Mass. with his wife, Anne Decker Cecere.
