WESTWOOD, MASS. (November 16, 2006): The accounting firm of Gray, Gray & Gray, LLP, Westwood, MA, has donated $5,000 in support of the American Cancer Society’s efforts to build a “Hope Lodge” for cancer patients undergoing treatment at Boston-area hospitals.
The funds were raised at the firm’s 19th annual year-end tax seminar. The seminar, presented by Gray, Gray & Gray tax partner Michael Koppel, covered a wide range of topics for both business and individual taxpayers.
Gray, Gray & Gray’s donation will help to fund construction of the American Cancer Society’s “Hope Lodge” in Boston. The Hope Lodge, scheduled to be completed in 2008, will provide 40 residential units for use by cancer patients undergoing treatment in Boston-area hospitals.
"We were happy to be able to make this donation to such an important cause," stated Neil D. Krug, CPA, Managing Partner of Gray, Gray & Gray. "We are glad to support the Hope Lodge project, while providing good tax planning information to our clients and business associates."
