Michael Cecere, CPA, MST
Whether it is designing and implementing internal accounting systems, or representing a client with the Internal Revenue Service, Michael always delivers effective and practical advice.
In providing day-to-day service for a number of key clients, Michael offers important insight in the areas of accounting, audit, tax and internal control matters. He also heads up the firm's Employee Benefit Plan Audit Practice Group. Michael has been appointed to the Executive Committee of the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center to help CPA's meet the challenges of performing quality audits in this unique and complex area.
Michael is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. He also serves as a director and treasurer of the New England Chapter of the Family Firm Institute and as a director of the Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Michael joined Gray, Gray & Gray in December 1989 and was elected partner in January 2002.
A graduate of Merrimack College, Michael also serves on his alma mater's Alumni Council. He received his Masters in Taxation with high honors from Bentley University.
