Employee Benefit Plan Audits Group

Hiring an accounting firm to perform the audit of a company's benefit plan financial statements and to prepare the related tax filings is a fiduciary function. To limit your personal liability, your service provider must be qualified, competent and experienced.

To provide you with the best possible service, we have established a specialized practice group for Employee Benefit Plan Audits. The members of this experienced, knowledgeable group perform the audits, and prepare the Form 5500 and other filings for benefit plan engagements.

With the multitude of penalties that can result if the required filings are not done correctly, our dedicated practice group is the best way to give our clients the quality of service they require.

In order to better serve our audit clients, and to remain on the cutting edge of audit regulations, Gray, Gray & Gray is an active member of the following associations:

  • Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center- AICPA
  • Public Company Accounting Oversight Board

What does this mean for you? It means added assurance that your benefit plan work will be done in accordance with the latest requirements, and given the appropriate attention by the specialists assigned to the engagement. All of the applicable ERISA and DOL rules and regulations will be followed. All of the required disclosures will be made. And all of this will be accomplished efficiently by our highly trained professionals.
