STAFF ACCOUNTANT - Audit and Tax
The ideal candidate will have a BA degree in accounting, basic knowledge of accounting concepts, strong communication, interpersonal and computer skills and a desire to learn. Get your career off to a great start with us. You’ll jump right into interesting and important work, learn the profession from the inside, and progress professionally by working toward passing the CPA exam.
EXPERIENCED TAX ACCOUNTANT (3+ Years of Experience)
The ideal candidate should have a B.A. degree in accounting, demonstrate knowledge of accounting and tax principles, good management, communications and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in related tax accounting, spreadsheet, and work processing software as well as continue developing knowledge of federal and state taxes. In addition to mastering the skills of staff accountants, the candidate should be able to develop in-charge skills on specific clients and begin supervising staff.
INTERNSHIPS
(Full and Part-time Positions Available for Tax Season 2009)
College seniors and juniors with accounting majors needed to provide support for our tax department and gain valuable hands-on experience preparing tax returns, assisting with an audit engagement, preparing financial statements and basic accounting. Many of our interns are offered a full-time position with the firm once they have completed their degree.
TAX MANAGER
Seasoned tax professional with sound experience and knowledge of federal and state taxation including experience working with Subchapter C and S corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individuals. This individual should have strong analytical and communication skills, be able to write effectively and communicate with various levels of management. In addition, client contact is required, and this individual should be able to communicate effectively with different levels of a client's management.
